Application Process

1. Pick up Application on first working Monday of any month from 9am-4pm at the Detroit EITC. The facility is located at 2277 E. 11 Mile Road, Warren, MI.
2. Return completed application within 30 working days.
3. Have high school mail official copy of transcripts directly to the Training Center within 30 working days.
4. If you meet the qualifications you will be notified 3 months later to report for testing. If you receive a test notice there will be a $20.00 processing fee payable at the time of your test date.
5. If your test results are satisfactory, you will be notified within 6 months for an interview.
6. If you are not notified within 6 months of your test date for an interview, you will need to re-apply and re-test to be considered for an interview.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, must have completed one year of high school algebra, has a high school diploma or a GED. Classes are started as manpower demands dictate and vary based on economic conditions in the market at any given time.

Computer Requirements

If accepted into the program you will need to have internet access and a Windows based computer in order to complete homework assignments. Computer/Internet access can be made available for you at the training center if you do not have them available elsewhere. Computer requirements are as follows:
